This is perhaps getting you hyped too. And you’re probably like, “Okay, so, where can I watch Attack on Titan?”

If this is you, not to worry as we’ve have chosen the best high-quality platforms where you can watch Attack on Titan. By the way, this post on AOT characters’ height could impact your fantasy about the characters as an existing fan.

Anyways, before we get to the real deal, here’s an overview of Attack on Titan.

A little about Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan has sent adrenaline gushing over viewers as its plot projects life in a dramatic way.

The movie is centered on the existence of ‘titans’ in an alternate universe. These extremely powerful creatures love to feed on human flesh. To protect themselves, the remaining humans live inside giant walls.

Eren, a boy, who lives within those walls, but dreams of discovering the beautiful world behind those walls, gets a fair share with these titans. One day, the titans manage to break into the walls, and in one of the ‘typical’ attacks, they eat his mother before his very eyes. This forms Eren’s resolute mission to destroy all the titans in the world.

Where to Watch Attack on Titan

Netflix

Netflix provides one of the most popular streaming services in the world – if not the most. However, as compared to other streaming platforms, it isn’t too big on anime. But the fact remains that you can watch all types of movies and anime on this platform. And as you’d expect, all seasons of Attack on Titan can be streamed on Netflix in Japanese and English.

To access AOT on Netflix, you can select between three different subscription options. You will be charged monthly, although you will enjoy an exclusive free-of-charge offer for your first month completely as a newbie.

Here’s the subscription plan:

  • Premium — $19.99 monthly which allows 4 concurrent viewings in 4K HDR.
  • Premium (2) — $15.49 monthly and allows 2 concurrent viewings in HD.
  • Standard — $15.49 but allows one stream at a time.

Now, Netflix might be your AOT go-to option but it isn’t available in your country. This is where a VPN comes in. As it stands, you can only watch AOT on Netflix in Canada, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and the Philippines.

  • Get a VPN, preferably NordVPN.
  • Choose Canada as your location in the settings.
  • After launching the VPN, move to Netflix.
  • Look for “Attack on Titan” and watch gleefully.

Hulu

Here’s a close-up platform to Netflix as it isn’t ultimately centered on anime. It streams a wide variety of dramas, movies, and shows. Consequently, it doesn’t host a lot of anime thrillers, so don’t expect much. Despite that, AOT is well represented here in subtitled versions with all four seasons in English and Japanese.

Although season 4 is currently being released, Hulu takes in new episodes every Sunday. Hulu’s on-demand streaming begins at $6.99 per month, which you can cancel at no cost. An ad-free version is charged at $12.99/month. Additionally, the platform offers a 30-day free trial, which covers all four seasons of the movie.

Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll is probably the best anime-ally platform for all fans. It is based on anime, and the best part is that you can watch the first season of AOT for free! Yet, you will have to deal with frustrating ads. Thanks to Sony, you can access the episodes on the platform only an hour after they are aired in Japan.

It ticks the box again, as it offers the best experience for fans who prefer to watch the original Japanese version with English subtitles. So, it means that it does not offer English dubbed versions for your region.

But you can try out the VPN alternative as explained above. The subscription price is around $7.99 to $14.99 per month.

Funimation

Funimation is more Crunchyroll-esque because it incorporates an extensive collection of anime. However, a stand-out quality here is that it includes the dubbed versions of all the popular anime. This means that you can get the dubbed version of Attack on Titan.

Downside? You guessed right. The annoying ads! Just like Crunchyroll, you can watch your AOT season 1, but for the ads! The price is a bit encouraging though, as it takes about $5.99-7.99/month or $9.99/year.

Note: Dubbing is exclusively advisable on the grounds of a language barrier. However, while most streaming platforms offer dubbed versions of AOT, usage is dependent on your mastery of VPN.

  • Adult Swim (Toonami Block) platform covers all four seasons, dubbed! It is available on iOS and Android, Roku, Apple, and Fire TV.
