Everyone’s favourite attraction has nearly arrived! Ghibli Park is an official Studio Ghibli theme park that will open in November 2022. This new tourist attraction is set to debut on the expansive grounds of Aichi Earth Expo Memorial Park in Aichi prefecture.

Visiting this theme park will allow you to immerse yourself in the amazing and enchanting Ghibli universe that people worldwide love.

There will be no rides or attractions, unlike traditional theme parks. Instead, the park recreates Studio Ghibli’s settings and landscapes that you’ve seen in their films.

The park will be split into five sections, with three of them set to open in November 2022 and the remaining two sections set to open in 2023. Each section will provide a unique and fascinating experience inspired by numerous Ghibli films.

This new park will not only appeal to Ghibli enthusiasts, but it will also provide a pleasant and unforgettable family adventure!

MGM Super Casino

MGM Resorts International, an American hospitality and entertainment firm, has announced exciting plans to develop a $9 billion casino facility in Japan.

The new casino, located in Osaka, still needs to clear some approvals from the Government, but the signs are looking good.

Osaka is close to Tokyo as Japan’s most appealing business location and has been under consideration by many Western gaming firms for several years.

Since gambling was legalised in Japan in 2018, many casino businesses have planned to invest in the Japanese market, but most have abandoned them.

Hirofumi Yoshimura, Governor of Osaka Prefecture, has revealed that they have received a proposal from MGM Resorts International to begin developing the casino development in Osaka.

Until now, there have been no opportunities for punters in the country to show off their casino skills or poker tactics at the poker tables, so this development is exciting for many people.

Naoshima, nestled in the Seto Inland Sea, is a lovely, secluded island regarded as Japan’s art island. This tranquil tiny island has recently acquired prominence as a modern art hotspot.

As one of the primary sites of the Setouchi Triennale, it greets visitors with a diverse collection of modern works of art, including sculptures, installations, photography, and paintings, displayed outdoors and in modern museums. “Valley Gallery,” one of Naoshima’s new galleries opening in 2022, was created by Tadao Ando to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the opening of the Benesse House Museum.

The Benesse House Park will also have a new exhibition area called “Hiroshi Sugimoto Gallery: Time Corridors.” Visitors to the exhibition area can see Hiroshi Sugimoto’s amazing works of art, including the classic glass tea house called “Mondrian.”
