‘Do one thing, and do it well.’ We hear this phrase time and time again, but in Tokyo’s rapidly-evolving coffee scene, it truly is the raison d’être for many of the industry’s leaders. This pursuit for perfection is found in all hardworking Japanese artisans, often dedicating their entire lives to a single, narrow-focused craft. Celebrate Japanese coffee with this series of original art prints.
Geri was originally commissioned to make these illustrations by Standart, the world-leading coffee magazine. The cafes depicted include Blue Bottle (Kiyosumi-Shirakawa), Starbucks Reserve Roastery (Nakameguro), Onibus (Nakameguro), and Bear Pond Espresso (Shimokitazawa).
