Description

Dio Brando, referred to as DIO after Part 3, is the main antagonist in the original universe of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, appearing primarily as the main antagonist in both Part 1 and Part 3.

After becoming a vampire and then a Stand user, Dio gathered many minions around him and is responsible for many major events in the series, from Jonathan Joestar’s death to the Joestar Family’s sudden acquisition of Stand power, and his legacy lives on throughout the series.

Dio is the father of Giorno Giovanna, the main character of Part 5, as well as a few other illegitimate children.
