This November, SIX the Musical writes another chapter of herstory, as the acclaimed Japanese cast brings their high-energy, Japanese-language production to the Vaudeville Theatre in London for one week only — from Tuesday 4 to Sunday 9 November 2025.
Performed entirely in Japanese (with English captions), the production marks the first time an international-language version of SIX has taken to a West End stage, celebrating the global reach of the show’s empowering message.

From Tokyo to the Thames
After SIX Japan’s sold-out seasons in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya, its arrival in London continues a story of cultural resonance and creative collaboration. Original producers Kenny Wax, Wendy & Andy Barnes, and George Stiles, working in special partnership with Umeda Arts Theater (梅田芸術劇場), have invited the cast to make their West End debuts following their sensational run across Japan.
Producer Kenny Wax described the milestone as “a landmark moment for SIX”, adding that the London performances will “give fans an extra way to connect with the production — not only through the shows at the Vaudeville, but also by experiencing the language and culture of Japan first-hand.”
For many theatre-goers, this will be their first encounter with Japanese-language musical theatre — a rare opportunity to see how SIX’s witty lyrics and fierce rhythms transform across cultures while keeping their punch and spirit intact.
Cultural Crossovers: Workshops You Can Join
To mark this occasion, audiences can take part in two immersive cultural workshops celebrating both the production and Japanese creativity.
- On Thursday 6 November, from 5:15 to 6:45 p.m., cultural platform Dear Asia will host a Japanese Language Workshop, exploring SIX’s lyrics as a playful gateway into Japanese language and culture. Participants (ages 10+) can learn the Japanese lyrics to their favourite songs while trying their hand at traditional arts and crafts in a relaxed, inclusive setting.
- Then, on Saturday 8 November, from 12:00 to 1:30 p.m., acclaimed illustrator Chie Kutsuwada (くつわだちえ) — known for her expressive manga and graphic storytelling — will lead a Manga Workshop with a SIX-inspired twist. This beginner-friendly session introduces the fundamentals of manga drawing, guiding attendees to create their own manga-style portraits of the Queens. All materials are provided, and spaces are open to participants aged 10 and up.

Meet the Japanese Queens
The cast features a dynamic rotation of Japan’s top musical performers:
- Sonim (ソニン) as Aragon
- Meimi Tamura (田村芽実) and Maho Minamoto (皆本麻帆) alternating as Boleyn
- Harumi (はるみ) as Seymour
- Eliana (エリアンナ) and Marie Sugaya (菅谷真理恵) alternating as Cleves
- Airi Suzuki (鈴木愛理) and Erika Toyohara (豊原江理佳) alternating as Howard
- Sora Kazuki (和希そら) and Ruki Saitō (斎藤瑠希) alternating as Parr
They’ll be joined by Aoi Tanaka (田中葵) as Musical Director. While Emiko Suzuki (鈴木瑛美子) and Mahya Harada (原田真絢) will not appear due to prior commitments, the ensemble remains a powerhouse of Japan’s contemporary musical talent.
