Setsuhi Shiraishi

Setsuhi Shiraishi is a Japanese calligraphy artist whose work bridges the traditional world of Japanese calligraphy with contemporary artistic expression.
Known for her distinctive style and dynamic collaborations with music and visual arts, Setsuhi transforms calligraphy into an immersive multidisciplinary art form. Her live calligraphy performances, created in response to live music and atmosphere, have captivated audiences internationally.
She has actively exhibited and performed overseas, including solo exhibitions in Paris and performances across Europe, Asia, and South America.
Her notable works include creating the concept calligraphy “Enjin” for the Japan National Football Team’s 2014 FIFA World Cup uniform, as well as calligraphy for the 2022 Nintendo Switch title Touken Ranbu Warriors.
Setsuhi has presented installation works and performances at major international cultural events, including the Japan Pavilion certified event at Expo Milano, performances at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, and a special performance commemorating the 125th anniversary of Japan–Chile diplomatic relations at the Cultural Center of La Moneda Presidential Palace in Chile.
In 2024, she participated in the Paris Olympics as part of TEAM JAPAN HOUSE, contributing spatial art direction, workshops, and live performances.
Her cross-disciplinary activities also include collaborations with major brands and corporations such as Clé de Peau Beauté (Shiseido), Oracle Japan, QUICK Corporation, and Doutor Coffee, for whom she has created large-scale calligraphy artworks and installations.

Hibiki Ichikawa

Hibiki is a London-based Tsugaru Shamisen player.
He first came to the UK in 2011 and was later granted the qualification to perform under the ‘Tier 1 Exceptional Talent Visa’. He has since fully settled in London.
Officially recognised as a world-leading talent of Tsugaru Shamisen, Hibiki regularly performs across the UK and Europe.
His professional activities include teaching more than 30 students and collaborating with many other musicians and artists across a variety of projects.

Performed in China alongside the London Philharmonic Orchestra for the 2023 Genshin Impact Concert, ‘Melodies Of An Endless Journey’.
