Tokyo producer and DJ Shingo Nakamura plays a headline show at The Lower Third on Denmark Street, London, on Saturday 14 November 2026, from 11pm until 3:30am. The night is promoted by FreeFromSleep, and it is for over 18s only.
Nakamura grew up in Ibaraki, north-east of Tokyo, and is best known for melodic progressive house built around classical piano. Nearly all of his club dates so far have been in Japan and North America, which makes a small London room a rare chance to hear him play in Europe.

Shingo Nakamura’s progressive house, from Silk Music to Anjunadeep
Nakamura has been releasing on Silk Music since 2009, the label that later became Monstercat Silk, and his music has also come out on Otographic and Anjunadeep, where he has worked with Jody Wisternoff and James Grant. His Otographic album Days topped Beatport’s progressive house and trance charts. The Monstercat artist page collects his releases.
His most recent album, Solace, came out on Monstercat Silk on 8 October 2024. Its 14 tracks were made partly in studio sessions in Los Angeles, Seattle and Washington DC, with collaborators including Mango, Nina Carr and BT. In 2026 he released a club rework of his 2011 track “Thousands of Sounds”, and he told EDM Identity that he wants to make “emotional music that helps people relax or imagine different scenes”.
He played Dreamstate SoCal in November 2025, and this year he made his debut at EDC Las Vegas on the Quantum Valley stage. You can hear his mixes on SoundCloud before the night.
