In anticipation of the upcoming Crunchyroll Anime Awards on 25th May, Crunchyroll have announced the show’s musical line up and more celebrity presenters.

There will be performances from Japanese singer-songwriter LiSA (featured in our Tiktok hits roundup), hip-hop duo Creepy Nuts, and rock band FLOW, guest presenters include global superstar J Balvin, GRAMMY award winning singer Kacey Musgraves, and screenwriter Zak Penn.

The Crunchyroll Anime Awards will take place on Sunday 25th May, with the live ceremony hosted by Sally Amaki and Jon Kabira at the Grand Prince Hotel Shin Takanawa in Tokyo.

The pre-show will begin at 9AM BST and the main show at 10AM BST. The livestream will be available globally on Crunchyroll’s Twitch and YouTube channel, as well as SONY PICTURES CORE and the Sony Group Corp Global YouTube Channel.

  • LiSA—Japanese singer and iconic voice behind Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s opening theme “Gurenge”
  • Creepy Nuts—2025 Anime Award nominated hip-hop duo behind viral hits “Otonoke” and “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born”, the opening themes for Dan Da Dan and Mashle: Magic and Muscles, respectively.
  • FLOW—Rock band, performing at the Anime Awards in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Eureka Seven.
