New Patchwork Red Hanten Jacket

Our New Patchwork Red Hanten Jacket is a traditional Japanese winter garment made from thick, padded cotton. It is characterised by its square shape and its stitching, a type of decorative embroidery that is also used to reinforce the fabric.

• The outer cotton layer is constructed using traditional Kurume textiles from the Chikugo region of Japan.
• The lining is a bespoke mix of cotton and polyester, formulated for optimum warmth and breathability.

• Many of the Hanten jackets also feature plenty of handy inner and outer pockets – perfect for storing your kokeshi dolls.
