Hong Kong-born, London-based keytarist TC.KYLIE brings her Before RE:conciliation Tour to The Lower Third on Denmark Street on Tuesday 1 December 2026. Doors open at 7pm and the night runs until 11pm. The Hong Kong singer JOYA opens the show, then joins the band as a guest vocalist.
TC.KYLIE, whose name is Kwan Tsz Ching, plays cinematic jazz fusion on a synth keytar with her band, The Hourglass. The tour listing names Japanese jazz rock bands Fox Capture Plan and jizue among her influences, alongside the sound of Sega and Nintendo era games and the warmth of Studio Ghibli scores.

RE:birth and a Howl’s Moving Castle theme on keytar
Her debut record, RE:birth よみがえり, runs for just under 22 minutes across five tracks: “Rebirth”, “Merry-go-round of Life”, “Stage”, “Sea” and “Nightingale”. Four are her own compositions. The fifth is her arrangement, made with flautist Victor Wu, of Joe Hisaishi’s “Merry-go-round of Life”, the waltz that runs through Hayao Miyazaki’s Howl’s Moving Castle.
Jazz Journal reviewed it in September 2025 and called it “dynamic jazz fusion”. You can hear the record on Légère Recordings’ Bandcamp page.
The first pressing of 300 sky blue copies has sold out. According to the tour listing, a repress will be on sale at these shows alongside new music from her forthcoming full-length album.

The Hourglass line-up changes from show to show. On the live RE:birth recording, The Lightship Sessions, the band was Ayman Sinada on drums, Indigo Pearce on bass, Victor Wu on flute and Natasha Petrović on violin. The musicians for the London night have not been announced yet.
JOYA is flying in from Hong Kong to open the night with her own set, before stepping into the band. The London show is one of several UK dates on the tour, including The Deaf Institute in Manchester on 30 November and a Cardiff date at Kings Road Yard on 4 December. The tour listing says her last four London headline shows, including both sets at Ronnie Scott’s Upstairs, sold out within 13 months.
