For instance, when I sported an Attack on Titan shirt and Survey Corps cape at Universal Studios Japan, it instantly connected me with fellow fans, forging new friendships. Therefore, it’s no surprise that anime streetwear brands are thriving, offering high-quality clothing versatile enough for conventions yet subtle enough for everyday wear. Moreover, these brands ensure you can flaunt your fandom with pride without the extravagance of full cosplay. Ultimately, this curated list of brands delivers apparel and a lifestyle where you can celebrate your favourite anime daily.

Talister Paris

Talister Paris is a clothing store based in Paris that sells anime-inspired T-shirts and accessories. While they may feature iconic anime characters, the art is drawn by the studio’s own artists, so each tee has an original design.

Personally, I was blown away by some of these shirts, especially the ones that resemble Japanese paintings and woodblock prints. Their sakura onahami print has large cherry blossoms frozen in time, while their Koi design features a carp jumping out of the water – definitely drawing from the myth of the koi fish that turns into a Dragon. With Vaporwave designs that call to mind the majestic sounds of Tokyo citypop, this brand is definitely the most colorful ones on this list!

Their accessories such as caps, stickers, and water bottles have a very sleek and aesthetic minimalist style that anime fans will be sure to appreciate! I strongly suggest you go window-shopping through their website just to indulge in a visual feast of designs.

Geek Lord has original concept designs drawn by in-house artists. Unlike the other stores on this list, it also sells vintage manga. Nope, not on a T-shirt. The real thing! If you go over to the website’s “manga/art/media” page, you will find their collection of anime, manga, DVDs and VHS from the 90s through the 2000s.

They also sell artistic military jackets, Japanese-style Hawaiian shirts, long sleeve tees, and more! As an anime clothing store, you’d be surprised at how much items they’re really selling.

AnimeBae is the premier destination for anime streetwear enthusiasts seeking a blend of minimalism and bold expression. Their collection, featuring streetwear anime designs, transcends the ordinary, offering a mature twist to the anime apparel scene. Moreover, their unique hentai hoodies and flannel selections cater to a discerning audience that appreciates the intricate balance between provocative and tasteful.

Furthermore, AnimeBae’s sad boy shirts encapsulate the essence of reflective anime themes, while the Lewd Girls line boldly celebrates the allure of anime’s iconic female characters. Despite the playful pastel pink logo, AnimeBae’s offerings are anything but juvenile. Seamlessly, they navigate the fine line between understated and daring, ensuring that each piece resonates with the true anime fan.

In essence, AnimeBae is the epitome of anime-inspired streetwear—a brand that embodies the spirit of anime while infusing it with contemporary street fashion sensibilities. It’s the perfect harmony for those who live and breathe anime, offering a wardrobe as expressive and nuanced as the stories that inspire it.

For those who love kawaii, worry not! They also sell I’m Baby tees and cute pink caps. However, most of the designs really do lean on the edgy side, as their accessories Heartbreak Necklace and Sad Gang chain necklace demonstrate. Surprisingly, they also sell rugs and face masks! Go check out their website, it’s definitely an interesting ride! Based in Canada, AnimeBae definitely knows how to leave a strong impression.

Imourishop

Imouri is a Clothing & Lifestyle brand based in New York, modeled by Imouri-chan herself as seen in this graphic T-shirt! The store’s items are inspired by elements from anime and other Japanese aesthetics such as ukiyo-e and more. The brand also hosts a secret anime club with Discord giveaways, insider info, and hang-outs as well as an Ambassador program! This is definitely one of the most social anime apparel brands.

Out of all the stores on this list, Imouri offers the most variety in clothing! They have crop tops, sports bras, shorts, jogger pants, sports tees, and more alongside the usual hats, hoodies, and T-shirts. Their “stressed out” hat and Yaho! iPhone case have very cute designs, and will definitely appeal to anime fans. Furthermore, the UWU beanie left me unable to stop smiling. Additionally, the brand sells meme hoodies like their “Omae wa” hoodie – bound to earn laughs from fellow anime enthusiasts.

Aside from clothes, Imouri also sells water bottles, art prints, stickers, duffle bags, and SKATE BOARDS! A lot of the Imouri-chan prints sell out quickly, so one has to reserve in advance to get them.

Founded in 2015, Imouri was started by one guy named Ryan who wanted to make subtle anime T-shirts for himself. In 2016, he mustered the courage to make his store public and the rest is history! Imouri’s signature red color scheme, quirky designs, and trademark poster girl Imouri-chan definitely help the brand stand out among many anime apparel stores online!

Happy shopping! Hope you enjoyed this list and find the ideal store for your anime streetwear needs!
