Jay Japan
Jay Japan is a Baton-Rouge based online Japanese apparel store that’s shown both passion and devotion to Japanese culture and anime (but mostly Japanese culture). It was created in August 2018 by selling anime merchandise of much popular anime series such as Naruto Shippuden, Hunter X Hunter, and My Hero Academia (to name a few).
Although it was nice to sell anime merchandise, it doesn’t really have the originality for a Japanese store. The 2020 pandemic was a wake-up call for Jay Japan which got us back into the drawing board.
In March 2021, Jay Japan re-opened their doors with a new plan: showing love for Japanese culture with our way of originality. The reason for that concept is even though everyone loves Japan and Japanese culture, it’s not always a bad idea to showcase our originality every once in a while!

Jay Japan does mainly process their products within 2-7 business days from eight of our fulfilment centres.
For non-apparel products, it'll take about 2-5 business days to fulfil before being shipped.

However, there will be a time if you happen to be in a location that we cannot directly ship to; I will contact you as soon as I can.
Since we cannot do anything dealing with international customs, be prepared to pay a fee dealing with customs.
Shipping times (estimated) varies by mainly the nearest fulfilment centres and to our customers, and there can be times you can receive the order a little past the estimated delivery time for plenty of reasons, such as:
- The product being out of stock
- Shipping related delays like failed delivery attempts, service disruptions, etc.
- Personalization of a certain product/product(s)
Meaning: If customers are located inside the countries of our facilities, then they are considered domestic. Example: US, Canada, and Mexico customers are domestic since there are facilities in the US and Canada.
Whereas customers that are located outside the facilities' area are considered international. For example, customers from South Korea, Indonesia, and Taiwan are considered international since the nearest facility is in Japan and outside the facility area.
The big thing to remember is it doesn't count with the estimated time it'll finish processing (which takes 2-7 business days).
Agreed, it might take some time for your product to come, perfection takes time.
*Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, there will be some delays on your orders, and the processing time before shipping your order will also have some delays. So please be patient, and even though your orders are automatically safe, I will do what I can to make sure your orders are processed and shipped right to your door. Also, because of the pandemic, there will be no express shipping at this moment to limit the spread of COVID-19 to our customers. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.*
Tracking information will be sent out to your email the moment your order is shipped. It'll contain the tracking code you need to help track your product whenever you can. Go to Track Order on the Main Menu, fill out the information you gave, and your tracking information will display. If it's not displayed, either the code is incorrect, or your products have not shipped out yet.
Items in the same purchase will be sent in separate packages, even if you combined the shipping.
US Customers:

International Customers:

Refund Policy
Jay Japan offers a 30-day money-back guarantee on products that are ONLY unopened, unused, and with the original packaging.
To be eligible for a return, you need to have the product in the SAME CONDITION that it once was, unopened, unused and unworn, and in its original packaging. You also need to have a receipt and/or any kind of proof of your purchase before we start the process of a return.
The only exceptions that we cannot accept any returns are orders that are on sale, gift cards, and customized products (products that you personalized).
Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

- Packages sent out from our Spanish facility are automatically returned to Travessía Prat de la Riba, 91-95, 08849 Sant Climent de Llobregat, Barcelona, Spain.
- Packages fulfilled by our partner facilities in Australia are returned to: 40 Tanimbla Street, Kedron, Queensland 4031, Australia (apparel orders); 338 Albert St, Brunswick VIC 3056, Australia (non-apparel orders).

Please inspect your order upon receiving it and contact us if the item is defective, damaged, or you received the wrong order. We'll inspect it and make it right!
Once you return the original product to us, we inspect the product to see any problems. If everything goes well, then you will get your refund back. Once you get your refund back, it will return to your bank account or credit card. It might take some time before the refund returns to you, but it's 100% guaranteed that you'll get your refund back.
